Where Coastal Elegance Meets Effortless Sophistication
The Seamist Poolhouse encapsulated the essence of coastal living, with inspirations drawn from white sands and the invigorating scent of fresh ocean breeze. This one-bedroom studio seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living, offering a space that feels both effortlessly sophisticated and warmly inviting.
From the ground up, KANLA PERLA collaborated closely with the draftsman to bring a modern coastal vision to life — crafting every detail with care to ensure the poolhouse is not only look good but feel good too.
The Open living/ lounge area is designed for relaxed comfort, grounded by light champagne engineered timber floor that flow throughout the space. Soft, natural stone and organic textures create a serene atmosphere, inviting quiet moments and easy entertaining.
Focus on the poolhouse kitchen, we designed this space to perfectly balances functionality and style. Designed to serve as both a bar for the lounge area and a fully functional kitchen, it’s a small space that offers big possibilities. Sleek custom cabinetry featuring display shelves for a streamlined look. Brushed nickel add a subtle shimmer, while the minimalist design keeps the space feeling open and bright — perfect for effortless gatherings or casual evening by the pool.
The ensuite is small but carefully considered, with oversized floor tiles, pairs with subway tile on the wall and stone benchtop featuring delicate veining that mimics ocean foam — the soft, swirling patterns reminiscent of waves breaking gently on the shore. This subtle, natural movement in the stone adds an organic elegance, perfectly echoing the coastal surroundings. A highlight window in the shower invites lush greenery and sky inside, bringing nature into daily rituals with soothing, natural light. In the bedroom, warmth is introduced through natural rattan furnishing and a soft, cozy rug, adding layers of texture that feel both inviting and timeless. As the sun sets, the space becomes bathed in golden light. offering tranquil view of the pool and the surrounding landscape — making it a perfect retreat to unwind and reconnect with the rhythm of coastal life.
Throughout the poolhouse, the seamless integration of large windows and carefully considered openings brings the outside in, creating a sense of openness and connection to nature that is at the heart of this design. Whether basking in morning light or soaking in the glow of sunset by the pool, The Seamist Poolhouse is a place where modern coastal living and natural beauty come together in effortless harmony.
